About The Author:
Maraya is a semi-retired nurse practitioner who holds a Ph.D. in psychology and is a passionate mother, teacher, writer, intuitive singer, dancer, and organic gardener. New Hampshire to New Delhi, Baba India and Me is Maraya’s first non-fictional memoir; she is working on its sequel. Maraya is a public speaker who loves working with small groups, leading assorted workshops and providing personal life coaching. She delights in seeing the world through an innocent child’s eyes and continually revives that ability through her cherished granddaughters, Samantha 4, Scarlett 3 months and her grandson, Tyler 1. She, Beauty, her dog, and Baghdad Harry, her cat live in Western Florida where they practice Thich Nhat Hahn’s Being Peace.
